Life gets crazy, but you don’t have to give in. It’s a season for thankfulness and gratitude. So, grab a warm cup of your favorite tea, find a comfy spot to rest, and give yourself an intentional moment to meditate on all the goodness going on in your life.
Fall is a season of change, beauty, bounty, and gratitude. As the leaves turn from green to gold, we can take a few minutes to meditate on the things that make us happy and thankful. Practicing gratitude, grace, and positive affirmations will help quell the anxiety that this (and any season) can bring with it. So do one up for your mental wellness and practice today.
Whether you’re getting out your journal, jotting your daily affirmation, or just sitting to ponder with a cuppa – consider the bountiful goodness in your life this season. Give yourself a moment of calm, and a cup of tea to enjoy it a bit more.
Here are some seasonal ruminations to consider during your mindful meditation:
Be grateful for the things that make us feel at home – in our house, in our bodies, and in our minds. The cozy sweaters and scarves that keep us warm and stylish. The throw blanket or snuggly pillow that beckons from the couch. Mull it over with a warm cup of Mulled Wine tea that soothes inside and out.
Positive Affirmation: "I am grateful for the comfort and sanctuary of my home. It provides me with warmth, safety, and peace every day."
Be grateful for the delicious seasonal flavors and aromas that fill our senses. Fall is the time to enjoy pumpkin spice, apple cider, cinnamon, nutmeg, and fruits that add warmth and sweetness to our drinks and dishes. Treat yourself to some Candied Pomegranate tea for a sensory sensation – vibrant colors, blissfully delicious, and fragrantly sweet. Or try Cinnamon Spiced Pear for a warm and spicy tickle for your tastebuds.
Positive Affirmation: I am grateful for the gift of my five senses. They allow me to experience the world's beauty, from the sweet scent of flowers to the soothing sounds of nature."
Be grateful for the opportunities to connect with our loved ones and ourselves. Fall is a great time to spend quality time with our family and friends, whether it’s by going for a walk in the park, carving pumpkins, baking pies, or watching a movie. It’s also a time to practice self-care and mindfulness, by meditating, journaling, reading, or doing yoga. Pamper yourself—or share a moment with a friend—with some Sweet Marzipan in an All-In-One Infuser Mug. And if you’re looking for someone who “just gets it” -- join our Snark Squad, cuz hon – we get it!
Positive Affirmation: "I am grateful for the deep connections I have with myself and others. These connections bring love, support, and understanding into my life."
Be grateful for the chance to appreciate the beauty of nature and life. Fall is a reminder that nothing lasts forever, but that everything has its own cycle and purpose. We can learn from the trees that let go of their leaves gracefully and prepare for the new season ahead. We can also marvel at the stunning colors and shapes that nature creates and feel grateful for the simple joys of life. Simply enjoy a cup of Elderflower & Orange for a taste of all this season has to offer.
Positive Affirmation: "I am grateful for the beauty and serenity of the outdoors and nature. It rejuvenates my spirit and fills me with awe at the wonders of the world."
So, this fall, take time for deliberate contemplation, gratitude, and self-care. Whether you journal, meditate, or simply savor a cup of tea, let the season of change inspire you. Embrace the bounty of this season and practice a moment of calm. Share with us, and the Snark Squad, what you’re grateful for this season!
