Glass Jar — Thermal Shock

This kit contains a glass jar. Glass can crack or break if exposed to sudden temperature changes.
Always pre-warm your jar before adding warm or hot liquids. Fill with warm tap water for 60 seconds, then empty before brewing.
Never use boiling water. Maximum brewing temperature is 145°F (62°C). DO NOT EXCEED.
Never add hot liquid to a cold jar.
Inspect your jar before every use. Do not use if cracked, chipped, or damaged in any way.
Never handle jar when hot. Handle glass with care. Use the neoprene sleeve or a towel when holding jar.

Always ensure the jar handle is screwed on completely and securely before lifting by the handle.
An unsecured handle can detach unexpectedly, causing the filter and contents to fall.
Never lift or carry the jar by the handle until you have confirmed it is fully tightened.
Always remove the filter completely from the jar before pouring.
When carrying or transferring the jar, always support the underside with your other hand. Do not carry by the handle alone, especially when the jar is full.

The sleeve is designed to reduce condensation and provide grip only.
It does not provide full heat protection.
Do not place any component of this kit in contact with warm or hot liquids regardless of whether the sleeve is in place.

This lid is not airtight. Do not shake or invert the jar while the lid is in place.
Do not use to seal carbonated or pressurized liquids.
Do not fill jar beyond the recommended fill line when using warm or hot liquids. Overfilling may cause liquid to overflow when the filter is inserted.

Hand wash filter, lid, and sleeve only.
Do not place any component in the dishwasher.
Do not microwave this jar or any component of this kit.
Inspect filter mesh regularly for damage. Do not use if mesh is torn or compromised.

Keep out of reach of children during use and while jar contains hot or warm liquids.
Do not allow children to handle the jar unsupervised when in use.

After steeping with hot water (approx. 145°F), allow the jar to cool on the counter before adding room temperature water
Do not add cold water to a jar that is still hot — sudden temperature changes can cause the glass to crack or break or shatter and result in injury.
Always use room temperature water when topping up your jar. Do not use cold, refrigerated, or ice water.
Never place a hot jar directly into the refrigerator.

This kit includes loose leaf tea. Review all ingredients listed on your tea packaging before consuming.
Do not consume if you have a known allergy to any listed ingredient.
Always store in the refrigerator.
Consume within 3–5 days of brewing. Discard immediately if color, smell, or taste seems off.
Do not leave finished infusions at room temperature for extended periods.
